amazon sells the two sided othello type disks. one side red one side blue. I use those to ready and exhaust the cards. you just flip and and unflip.

Legendary is the only game of mine that I’ve blinged out, and I think it’s still pretty modest. I have red, blue, and blue 20-sided spindown dice for attack, recruit, and miscellaneous tracking. I bought a big bag of translucent plastic gemstones for shards, and an infinity gauntlet keychain to track whose turn it is if I’m playing 2-handed solo. I also try and donate to Legendary Leagues ExtraLife marathon every year so I’ve picked up several special tokens as rewards: “destroyed city” spaces to cover over any unusable parts of the city, an oversized “Astral Plane” space, Prime Sentinel cards for Bastion’s Master Strike, Singularity Investigator cards for the Messiah Complex scheme, and most recently some Killbot cards for the “Replace Earth’s Leaders” scheme in the core box. It actually sounds like a lot when I type it all out like that, but they’re just little enhancements that make me enjoy the game that much more.

My boardgame upgrades for Marvel Champions are also the burger tokens. I also love Uberstax, it is a great modular boardgame system, especially when you incorporate the trays as well.

With so much content already created for 1st edition it will be a very long time until the other expansions get a 2nd edition. I will treat the new core box as an expandion.

I have been subscribed for some time now and it was originally because of Marvel Legendary. But it has been awesome to see that you're an avid board gamer! It's great to see these other playthroughs. Do you go to any cons?

I have a question, at the minute 11:26 you got +3 hit poits by power belt. That card increases your hit points to a total of 14? or does it recover your hp like you did in the video? I just ordered Iceman and im trying to learn how to play it,

Thanks for playing the Bond by the way. Love this game! It is surely more difficult than the Marvel (general inability to easily KO cards the biggest difference) but they are both favorites of mine!

I recently got the 3D Deadpool varied art Legendary set. Just a heads up if you would like OG Deadpool with different art, they are currently available for cheap on ebay. That may change soon.

That BGG thread has been updated with a good deal of information from those at GenCon. I don’t what to spoil anything for those that don’t want spoilers. But, I think it’d be safe to share that in that BGG thread someone said they got to play it at GenCon and ask a few questions; one of which was: “When will it be released?” the answer was “2025” which makes sense given Weapon-X is scheduled to release this year. Personally I’m disappointed as the cards revealed so far show no indication of using any keywords, which on the one hand I get but some of these characters are not likely to appear in another expansion (if they continue making sets after this one). Gambit and Emma Frost come to mind as characters that would need a specific theme to be in an expansion. Granted at time of writing there have not been any of either heroes cards shown, so there is still hope. And something to think about, I heard some say that Upper Deck doesn’t have Deadpool rights anymore? not sure if that is true or not, but it would be impactful on this 2nd edition if it is true.

Looking forward to grabbing this and the weapon x expansion coming

I couldn’t be more hyped! No way this is the end of Legendary - UD has been calling it an “evergreen “ title. If anything, this speaks really well to the future health of Legendary. I’d love to see them add a Leader mastermind to lead the Radiation villain group, or a Spider mastermind like Doc Ock or (at long last!) a Norman Osborn. I’d also love to get some AIM henchmen - they’re WAY overdue!

I would be fine if this was the end. It would be a great way to wrap it up. If they dont plan to give us more classic masterminds like Doc Ock or Kraven, I dont need more deep cut obscure stuff. If it continues Ill be fine with that too. Sounds like DC legendary is on the horizon, and Im looking forward to that now.

I’m EXTREMELY excited about Legendary’s second edition. I think we will very likely see 2 new Heroes, a new Mastermind and a new Villain group. I think a few Special Bystanders are more than likely (maybe something like what they did with the Villains, MCU and What If core boxes, something in the range of 8-12). A couple new Schemes are likely as well. That doesn’t leave much else to be added, but maybe, just MAYBE we get a couple of Special SHIELD Agents. I don’t see new Sidekicks on the horizon. A few other things that are easier to do: Epic Masterminds, reworking the original Masterminds (especially Red Skull), reworking some of the original Schemes… We’ll see, but just having new artwork makes it an insta-buy for me.

You can’t KO an out of time card because once you play it out of time activates and you no longer have the card to KO Also unless I missed a ruling last I knew you still played a card from the VD with Dooms tactics or in this case Brainstorms rare. It wasn’t till into the cosmos where they added in the text not to play a card from the VD with Cosmo….i may be mistaken tho

Awesome channel content - like to watch your playthroughs. I have had similar experience in playing true solo vs Volt Fusion - never managed to win with personal best getting the boss down to 3 life. Won first time playing two handed solo, though, with Caleb and Reshi. It was still far from easy, but being able to output 5, 6 or even more damage per turn makes a world of difference...

Precons stink man. I never play them anymore. I always break it down when I get a new hero.

Shopping Spree can be used in multiplayer to help other players get their cards, and Cell Phone is also more multiplayer oriented. She seems good but per usual the precon is kinda bad Edit: oh and disguise is basically there to make it possible to clear Shopping Spree in one shot

I think you made a mistake at the 29:05 mark when you took 3 silver for both the wall and the gate. Page 19 under “Connecting Walls and Gates”, paragraph 2 states “If a player built both the Wall and Gate, they only gain the reward once, not twice.” Also below that in example “1”, it is further clarified. Other than that, I think you were perfect. Best playthrough and explanation of this game I have seen.
